EMLF’s Careers in Energy Law
One-hour programs at various member law schools are hosted by EMLF members representing a wide array of practice areas within the energy industry. The program is designed to introduce law students to the variety of career opportunities that exist within the industry and provide a forum in which students may interact with practicing lawyers in their field of interest.

EMLF Law Student Fee Waivers Policy
EMLF encourages student members to attend EMLF-sponsored Continuing Legal Education programs by waiving the registration fee for a limited number of students per CLE program. If you would like a registration fee waiver to attend a specific EMLF program, contact Anna Girard Fletcher, Executive Director, via email at anna@emlf.org and request a fee waiver. The number of fee waivers varies with space availability at programs.

EMLF Support for Member Law School Projects
From time to time, the EMLF supports programs and projects at member law schools which foster the understanding of energy and mineral law issues. In 2012, the EMLF helped sponsor the West Virginia University College of Law Energy & Sustainability Moot Court Competition, with topics focused on the most pressing legal issues in the energy industry.  To submit your project for consideration, contact Anna Girard Fletcher, Executive Director, via e-mail at anna@emlf.org.
